Claire & Pete at hempstead house

On the journey to Sittingbourne for a full day booking, the automatic window wipers on my car started slide their way across my view. ‘Please don’t rain on Claire and Pete’s day’ I said out loud. Thankfully, with the typical Kentish weather, every corner you turn and every small winding road seems to have its own ecosystem; so as I pulled up to Hempstead House, the sun shone down on what was going to be a glorious and fun filled wedding.

Groom Pete, Best Man Zach, and Father of the Bride Ron, were nervously making final inspections of the stunning ceremony area in the courtyard of the hotel. After checking in for last minute nerves, it was off up to Bride Claire’s room to get some shots of her getting ready with Bridesmaid Bella. Some fun and games, and make up and dresses photographed, then it was time to go find Pete for some last minute Groom prep photos.

A beautiful ceremony including some fun and games from Pete and Zach, in which Zach claimed he’d lost the rings! Pete said he’d deal with it as he called an OWL(!) down the aisle with the rings! The guests were rather impressed by this…and rightfully so!

After the ceremony the guests got the chance to meet the owls before the fun formals, all the while the rain holding off while everyone was full of joy and knocking back few celebratory glasses of Prosecco.

There was then time a for a few creatives with the couple (who were by this time, rather exhausted by all the frivolity) before heading in for the wedding breakfast which included a magician and the speeches.

A small break for some more meeting and greeting the arrivals for the evening reception…and then it was time to PARTY!

Congratulations Claire and Pete on your…
